Antiques of London

This exceptional occasional side table dates to the 19th century and is attributed to Liberty's of London, a name synonymous with refined craftsmanship, artistic integrity, and the highest standards of English decorative arts. Beautifully hand carved and carefully restored, the table embodies the quiet sophistication and artisanal excellence for which Liberty's became renowned.

The finely carved detailing is executed with remarkable precision, revealing the skill of the original maker and the care invested in its creation. Every curve and contour has been shaped by hand, giving the piece a depth and vitality that cannot be achieved through machine production. The proportions are elegant and well balanced, making the table highly versatile as a side, occasional, or lamp table.

The restoration has been undertaken with sensitivity to the table's age and provenance, preserving its original character while ensuring structural integrity and practical usability. The surface retains a rich, warm patina, developed over more than a century, adding to its authenticity and visual appeal.

This is a rare and characterful piece of English furniture history, offering both function and decorative presence. Ideal for interiors that value originality and craftsmanship, this Liberty's London table brings a sense of heritage, artistry, and timeless elegance to any setting.

Caring for your items

Vintage period and original items, such as leather seating, will always have a natural patina in the form of cracking, creasing and wear.

We recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost and to keep out of sunlight.

For Hand-Dyed leather items, we don't recommend placing them in direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as they will dry out and fade.

For wood, we recommend regular, thorough cleaning and waxing also.

Care

To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care. Simple maintenance practices, such as gentle washing and proper storage, can effectively preserve the longevity of your favorites. We encourage you to refer to the care instructions included with each item, designed to help you keep your purchase in top condition.

Design

Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.
