Fine Antique 1920s Burr Walnut Hand Carved Dressing Table with Folding Mirrors

A fine antique 1920s burr walnut dressing table , beautifully made with hand carved detailing and elegant folding mirrors. The piece has a wonderfully decorative Art Deco period character, with richly figured burr walnut displaying beautiful depth, movement, and warmth across the surface.

This dressing table has been fully restored and French polished , giving the burr walnut a deep, refined lustre while preserving its antique charm and natural patina. The traditional French polished finish enhances the beauty of the grain, allowing the wood to glow without losing the character expected from a genuine period piece.

The folding mirror arrangement adds both practicality and elegance, allowing the side mirrors to be adjusted as needed. The hand carved detailing gives the dressing table a refined and crafted feel, adding softness and decorative interest to its classic 1920s form.

With useful drawer storage and a generous top surface, this piece would make a beautiful addition to a bedroom, dressing room, guest room, or boutique interior. It could also be used as a decorative console or vanity table.

There are expected signs of age and use, carefully balanced by the quality restoration, including light marks, gentle patina, and minor antique character consistent with its age.

A superb restored 1920s burr walnut dressing table with folding mirrors, French polished and full of elegant period charm.

Caring for your items

Vintage period and original items, such as leather seating, will always have a natural patina in the form of cracking, creasing and wear.

We recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost and to keep out of sunlight.

For Hand-Dyed leather items, we don't recommend placing them in direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as they will dry out and fade.

For wood, we recommend regular, thorough cleaning and waxing also.

Care

To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care. Simple maintenance practices, such as gentle washing and proper storage, can effectively preserve the longevity of your favorites. We encourage you to refer to the care instructions included with each item, designed to help you keep your purchase in top condition.

Design

Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.
