We are delighted to offer for sale This exquisite antique hand-dyed brown leather Chesterfield captain's office swivel armchair is a stunning example of craftsmanship and timeless design. Its classic Chesterfield silhouette is characterized by deep button tufting, rolled arms, and an elegantly curved backrest, exuding sophistication and charm.

The term "hand-dyed" refers to a meticulous leather treatment process where the original color is carefully stripped back, allowing the natural qualities of the leather to shine through. Following this, skilled artisans use traditional English antique techniques to hand-dye the leather, creating a rich, warm brown hue that enhances the chair's character and patina. This process ensures that each piece is unique, showcasing the natural variations and depth of colour that only hand-dyeing can achieve.

The chair features a comfortable swivel mechanism, allowing for ease of movement, making it perfect for both work and relaxation. Its sturdy wooden base and elegant legs provide stability and support, adding to its overall vintage appeal.

Whether used as a statement piece in a home office or as an eye-catching accent in a cozy reading nook, this hand-dyed Chesterfield captain's office swivel armchair is a true testament to timeless elegance and expert craftsmanship. Its rich history and unique coloring make it a remarkable addition to any antique collection.

Caring for your items

Vintage period and original items, such as leather seating, will always have a natural patina in the form of cracking, creasing and wear.

We recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost and to keep out of sunlight.

For Hand-Dyed leather items, we don't recommend placing them in direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as they will dry out and fade.

For wood, we recommend regular, thorough cleaning and waxing also.

Care

To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care. Simple maintenance practices, such as gentle washing and proper storage, can effectively preserve the longevity of your favorites. We encourage you to refer to the care instructions included with each item, designed to help you keep your purchase in top condition.

Design

Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.
